In order to provide a shift, our education programs must be reinvented. Our students' diversity must be first acknowledged, later identified, and finally addressed through the creation of strength-based environments that support all learners’ journeys. Humanity exists in a long continuum of diversity in many areas, our cognitive diversity is no exception. Acknowledging the richness and strengths that exist within our diversity lays a foundation for our reinvention, recognizing individuals do not need to be “fixed” but rather celebrated and supported. Creating and implementing programs that serve these learners holistically, shining a light on who they are, and aiding in their growth and journey towards self-actualization and self-fulfillment is our responsibility as a society.
About Us: Welcome
The Bringing it Forward Program seeks to serve cognitively diverse individuals without segmenting them off, but rather eliciting gifted behavior from as many learners as possible. Grounded in Renzulli’s creative productive model of giftedness, and combining multiple cutting edge models and research, our vision includes providing three distinct programs, consisting of workshops, resources, and consultancies, to service schools, families, and learners within the international community. The program attempts to serve each individual as a whole person with a unique learning profile and program catered to them. We realize we are not going to get it all right the first time around, but we need to start advocating for and promoting equity in our society. The Bringing it Forward Program provides a platform through which to initiate this change.
